Boy Scout Troop 23

St. Matthew sponsored Boy Scout Troop 23, one of the first Boy Scout Troops in the nation, was chartered in August of 1910, just six months after the founding of the Boy Scouts of America. Boy Scout Troop 23 is a member of the Keystone York-Adams Council of Boys Scouts of America. For boys 11 years to 18 years of age, meetings are held Mondays at 7:00 PM. Our pack meetings are usually held the fourth Monday of each month at 7:00 PM. Special activities are planned throughout the year including events from the Good Turn for America's, Scouting for Food Collection which is donated to the St. Matthew Food Pantry; Shelter Personal Care Collection and the York-Adams Council Blood Drive.
