Missionaries

St. Matthew Church has always supported Evangelical Lutheran Church of America (ELCA) missionaries through our Benevolence offering.

Our Sunday Church School supports additional missionaries with a monthly offering and prayer: Ray and Marlene Kornbau's radio ministry in France; Walt and Sue Johnston with CCO (Coalition for Christian Outreach) ministering to unchurched and non-believing International Students attending Penn State University, main campus; Viking Dietrich, Regional Representative,West Africa/ELCA Global Missions, focusing on Evangelism, Theological Education and Interfaith Relations. Nancy Stevenson missionary to Tanzania thru ELCA Global Missions teaching communication skills and study methods to first year university students.
